Backyard Water Time

I took these pictures clear back in May - before school let out, before summer officially started...yeah. The only reason I'm posting them is because they're a good representation of how we've been spending a lot of our days this summer. It's been SO stinkin hot this summer (obviously, since it was hot enough to be playing in the pool in MAY and it really hasn't let up since then) and this is one of the best ways for the kids to stay entertained and cool at the same time. Usually some of the cute neighborhood kids make it over and they just play their little hearts out.

All that sun and fun occasionally results in a small miracle like this one... a nap!
