Smiling and Stretching

You know, I worried that all the "milestones" wouldn't be nearly as exciting with my second kid as they were with my first. I was wrong. This crooked, happy little smile warms my heart just as much as Sadie's first smiles did:

The other thing I love almost as much as smiles is the stretching performance Ellie puts on when I wake her up from a deep sleep.

Throw arms behind head, arch back, purse lips and make funny face, relax, then repeat!

 

And we can't forget Miss Sadie. She was getting a little attention hungry while I was telling Ellie what a pretty smile she had. She proceeded to tell me, "I have pretty smile too. Take my picture."

So I did.
