A Gingerbread Creation

While we were in West Valley, my mom pulled out a gingerbread house kit that she had bought for the girls to create. Building gingerbread houses isn't on our list of traditions, so I think it's safe to say this was their first time. It was fun to see their different personalities come out in the way they decorated (and the age difference - I'm sure that had something to do with it). Sadie was very methodical and wanted her parts to look just like the picture. Ellie basically just slapped on the frosting and candy wherever her heart desired. The end result was a little lopsided but still cute. I think they did a great job!
