Today I'm happy that I do NOT live in a flood zone. Cache Valley was flooding all over the place today and we stayed safely away from most of it. (However, the street a couple blocks from us apparently had some pretty fast-moving waters coming down it today - something about a canal overflowing. Luckily it stayed far away from us!)
Thank goodness for living on a hill. :)
